Day Five: Denali NP & Wasilla
Today is at your leisure in the Grand Denali National Park. Many guests prefer to enjoy the Visitor’s Center and all it has to offer. From Alaskan movies, guided ranger hikes, ranger talks, dog sled demonstrations, to shopping. Get out there and enjoy the great trail system in the park, starting at the Visitors Center. Discover the Muir Science Center and the great geology and wildlife of the park. A café is available right next to the Park Visitor Center as well as theater, Bookstore and more. Or choose to add an optional ATV 4-wheeler tour, a helicopter ride over the park, a raft adventure through the park, a horseback ride into the park. Black Diamond is a Challenging Course with Alaskan Hazards, such as a tundra marsh or the occasional moose hoof print. It’s a relatively short course which makes it accessible and fun for any style of play and the course design makes for a quick round, which can fit into almost any travel schedule. Included are clubs & a cart, on a 9 hole course. See you on the greens!

DENALI HORSEBACK RIDE
Enjoy a fantastic 3.5 hour horseback riding adventure in Denali National Park. Come ride into some of the most spectacular backcountry in the world, under the midnight sun of Alaska’s north!
Horseback tour includes:
- Transportation to & from site
- Experienced wrangler/guide
- Gentle horses
- Riding helmets & gloves are available
You need to bring:
- Appropriate clothing (no shorts)
- Boots or shoes (no sandals)
- Camera and a sense of adventure
- Extra layer & rain gear are recommended
Upon your return, there will still be time to clean up and then have some leisure time in Denali National Park on your own. (weather dependent). There are several opportunities to see wildlife throughout your ride. Trail Time is approximately 1 ½ hours. UPGRADE $199.00 PER PERSON
This afternoon, after a great day, begin you journey back to the Matanuska Valley and back to your comfy accommodations. A dinner stop will be provided at a restaurant of group choice, along with DVD entertainment for a relaxing evening. Overnight in Wasilla.
