Waterfalls, Wildlife, and Rich History

Taking place only twice a year, this tour features both Denali and Wrangell St. Elias National Parks and goes to less visited—but equally beloved—parts of the state. See Alaska from the perspective of the state’s pioneers: traverse the Copper river valley to turn-of-the-century mining towns, follow the Alyeska pipeline over Thompson Pass to its terminus in Valdez, and cross Prince William Sound to Whittier. Along the way, encounter colossal glaciers, reach new heights on scenic flightseeing tours of the Wrangells and the Alaska range, enjoy exclusive views of wildlife and waterfalls, and deepen your understanding of Alaska.

An Historic Route to the Interior

“My friend and I did the Full Circle Tour in July 2023. It was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. Glacier trekking, flightseeing, hiking, and experiencing native Alaskan history. Our group was fabulous, we all just fit in like we were old friends.”

—Patty J.

“Absolutely the best time! Truly personal service and expert insight by our guide. We made 8 new friends who we hope to travel with again! Skip the crowds—see the LAND as it should be seen! Beautiful wildlife, waterfalls, glaciers, Denali up close and personal!”

—Janet W.

“We have so enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Alaska but more than that we have enjoyed how you have made us feel. Because of all your hard work, our once-in-a-lifetime vacation has turned into all that we had hoped for.”

—L & D Dickerson

“AAU’s Extended Full Circle tour was grand. This is the way to see Alaska! So very glad I added the Katmai National Park Bear Viewing. It was UNBELIEVABLE. Thank you AAU and Terry for a vacation I will always remember.”

—Alice L.
